Ben Pickman has joined The Athletic as a national staff writer to cover the WNBA and women’s college basketball. Recently, Pickman worked as a video producer and recently as a writer/editor at Sports Illustrated.
He interned at CNN and was a fellow at the Center for Journalism Ethics.
Pickman has a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he worked at the student newspaper, The Badger Herald.
