Videographer Alexis Cisneros has joined the KPNX 12News photography team.
He started the job this week.
Cisneros arrives to the Phoenix NBC affiliate from Albuquerque, where he worked at KOAT for the past two years.
That was his first opportunity to grow, working in breaking news coverage and specials, he tells Media Moves.
“I am from the small town of Weslaco, TX. I started my news career there as a camera operator until I was given my chance as a photojournalist. Shortly after that, I was discovered by KOAT-7 in Albuquerque and I took a chance to leave my small town for some action news,” he says.
That led to an even bigger career move this year.
“I am honored to be moving forward with KPNX 12 in phoenix, and to learn from a top 20 market in the country.”
Cisneros got his start at KRGV, the ABC affiliate in Rio Grande Valley, Texas.
