Hira Qureshi has joined The Philadelphia Inquirer as a city and culture service reporter. Recently, Qureshi was a regional food reporter for southern New Jersey and Bucks County, Pa. at USA Today Network.
She worked freelance for The Washington Post and The Commercial Appeal. Qureshi served as president of the Society of Professional Journalists and interned at the Democrat and Chronicle in Rochester, N.Y.
Qureshi has a B.A. in journalism from the University of Memphis.
