Bryan Lowry will join the Philadelphia Inquirer as a senior politics editor next year. He wrote on X/Twitter:
“Honored to join the team that will bring you crucial coverage of the presidential race & other key contests in my home state in 2024.”
Since May 2022, Lowry has been a politics editor at The Kansas City Star. Before that, he held the posts of Washington correspondent and White House correspondent at McClatchy.
From February 2017 to August 2018, he worked as a lead political reporter at the Kansas City Star. He also served as Topeka bureau reporter at The Wichita Eagle in Kansas.
Lowry has a B.A. in English language and literature from Boston University and a M.S. in journalism from Northwestern University.
