Caitriona Perry will join BBC News as a chief presenter, based in Washington, D.C. Since May 2007, she has been working at RTE.
During her 16 years at RTE, Perry held the posts of broadcast journalist, Washington correspondent, anchor and presenter. Before that, she was a courts reporter at Radio Ireland T/A Today FM.
Perry has a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Dublin City University.
