Clarissa Cruz has joined People Magazine as an executive editorial director. She begins Monday (Jan. 16) and will be based in Los Angeles. Recently, she was an executive editor at Entertainment Weekly.
Cruz freelanced and was a fashion features editor at O, The Oprah Magazine, as well as a contributing editor at InStyle. Previously, she worked at People Magazine as a style editor from June 2006 to December 2009.
She also worked at Entertainment Weekly from June 1998 to June 2006.
Cruz has a B.A. from Boston College.
