Lisa Tolin has joined the literary and free speech organization PEN America as an editorial director.
In her new role, Tolin will manage the editorial content team, direct and collaborate with writers, media relations staff, designers, producers, and other communications teammates.
At NBC News, she worked as a supervising health editor for NBC News Digital and head of special projects for TODAY Digital. She has held editorial roles at The Associated Press, including deputy editor and lifestyles editor.
Tolin has a B.A. from Barnard College in New York City.
