Alessia Passafiume has joined The Canadian Press as a parliament hill reporter, indigenous and gender affairs. She joins from The Toronto Star, where she worked as a breaking news and culture reporter on the Express desk.
Passafiume joined the Star in January 2022 as a city life and health reporter, audience. She also worked as a city news reporter at The Hamilton Spectator and as a national news reporter at The Globe and Mail.
Passafiume graduated from Western University in London, Ontario.
