Parry joins Daily Express as a digital reporter

Mared Emlyn Parry is now a digital reporter at the Daily Express, Reach Plc. Previously, she was digital reporter providing freelance coverage for showbiz, SEO, lifestyle and news desk at the Daily Star, also a publication of Reach Plc.

She has also worked as head of social, content and PR at The Dreamboys and was a media presenter and podcast host on the  BBC. She has also served as an entertainment and lifestyle reporter at The Hook and was at Global for more than a year, joining as a showbiz, lifestyle and news reporter at Heart.co.uk and then providing freelance coverage, lifestyle, at Heart.co.uk.

Parry is also the founder of WOMEDIA, a networking group for women in media. She was also a digital writer at News U.K. and a media presenter at Hansh. She has also worked as a writer, editorial intern and Cardiff editor at The Tab.

Parry was also a radio presenter at Xpress Radio and has served as a contributor at BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Radio 4 and was a features intern at News U.K. She was also a writer at Quench Magazine and has interned at Mercury Press Agency Ltd and WalesOnline.

Parry holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Communications from Cardiff University.
