Pantuso joins Times Union as managing editor of Hudson Valley newsroom

Phillip Pantuso

The Hudson Valley Times Union has appointed Phillip Pantuso as managing editor. Previously, Pantuso was managing editor at The River, a digital news magazine for the Hudson Valley.

His bylines have appeared in the New York Times, Fortune, Fast Company, Brooklyn Magazine, Pacific Standard, Popular Mechanics, Esquire.com, Paste, Austin Chronicle, and more. He was also a staff writer at Gothamist.com.

Pantuso has a B.A. in English from the University of Texas at Austin and a M.A. in magazine journalism from New York University.
