Sam Ogozalek will join the Tampa Bay Times as a reporter covering health care and mental health via Report for America. He begins in June.
Recently, Ogozalek covered the COVID-19 pandemic in South Carolina, with an emphasis on enterprise reporting for The Island Packet. He previously interned at the Tampa Bay Times, the Buffalo News and Naples Daily News.
Ogozalek graduated from Syracuse University.
