Tom O’Connor, a senior foreign policy writer at Newsweek, has taken over the role of deputy editor of the national security and foreign policy team. He will continue to write foreign policy stories as well.
Prior to joining Newsweek, O’Connor was a journalist at the International Business Times and interned at the New York Post.
O’Connor graduated from American University in Washington, D.C..
