Jonathan Wolfe, who has been writing the Coronavirus Briefing newsletter will take on an expanded role at The New York Times to work across the newsletter portfolio, helping writers and editors engage with readers.
Wolfe will also work with the broader briefing team while contributing to the other newsletters. Wolfe joined the Times in 2014 as an intern. Since then, he has worked as a news assistant, reporter, columnist and news producer for “The Daily.”
He previously served as a fact-checker at Thomson Reuters and a producer at NPR.
Wolfe has a bachelor’s degree from UC San Diego and a master’s degree from Columbia University, New York.
