NY Times taps Shpigel to serve as reporter/editor on the Live desk

Ben Shpigel, sports reporter at The New York Times will join the Live desk as a reporter and editor.

Over the last 17 years, Shpigel has covered various sports for the Times, including football, baseball and basketball. Prior to that, he worked at the Dallas Morning News.
