The New York Times has promoted Kristina Samulewski to the post of news assistant for Opinion audio. In her new role, she will be supporting all of The Times’ shows, with a special focus on narrative.
Samulewski joined the Times in 2019 as the executive assistant to editor-in-chief Hanya Yanagihara at T Magazine. Recently, she worked with T’s digital team, contributing to some of the magazine’s largest digital projects and features, and covering up-and-coming artists.
Samulewski has a B.A. from the University of Vermont.
