NY Times taps Marcius to cover police and criminal justice

Chelsia Rose Marcius has joined The New York Times Metro section as a reporter covering police and criminal justice.

She was recently working freelance for the Times.

She has also worked at The New York Daily News as a freelance reporter, general assignment/crime/breaking news reporter and criminal justice and features reporter.

Her work has also appeared in The Daily Beast, Realtor.com, MSNBC, CNN, Fox News, BBC Radio, WNYC, CBS New York, Fox New York, Inside Edition and others.

She has also reported for DNAinfo.

Marcius earned a bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Chicago and a master’s degree from New York University.
