The New York Times has appointed Noreen Malone enterprise editor on the Style desk. She joins from Slate, where she wrote and hosted a season of the Slow Burn podcast on the origins of the Iraq War.
Before that, she was at New York Magazine, where she worked as a print features editor and editorial director. She has also written for The New Republic and New York Magazine.
Previously, she also worked at Slate from January 2008 to May 2011 as an assistant, copy editor and writer.
Malone is a Georgetown University graduate.
