John Schwartz, science reporter covering climate change at The New York Times, is joining the faculty of the University of Texas at Austin’s School of Journalism and Media, reports Politico.
Schwartz has been with The Times for more than 20 years and has covered book reviews, occasional humor essays, legal affairs, infrastructure issues, the space program and other topics.
Prior to joining The Times, Schwartz was with The Washington Post for more than 7 years. He has also worked at Newsweek for 8 years.
Schwartz is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.
