NY Times promotes Danis to senior editor, investigations

The New York Times has promoted Kirsten Danis to senior editor, investigations. Previously, she served as deputy metro editor, investigations.

She has also served as managing editor of The Marshall Project. She was also deputy editor for Greater New York and then Northeast editor at The Wall Street Journal.

She has also worked as deputy metro editor, assistant managing editor and then managing editor/news at the New York Daily News. She has also reported for and was Sunday assignment editor at The Jersey Journal.

Danis graduated from Columbia College, Columbia University.
