The New York Times has tapped Andy Rossback to serve as senior editor, Storytelling. As per the Times:
“In his new role, Andy will help define how we think about our digital presentation in ways that enable editors to assign, produce and program the report at scale across our surfaces, especially the home screen.
“He will continue work across departments in the newsroom and with product colleagues to help identify opportunities and accelerate how we build and deploy emerging formats, tools and workflows.”
Rossback joined the Times in October 2016 as a graphics/multimedia editor. Previously, he helped launch The Marshall Project, where he worked as an editorial designer.
