The New York Times has tapped Agnes Chang and Josh Holder as visual reporters on the International desk helping expand The Times’ data, graphics and multimedia coverage.
Chang will be based in Seoul and joins from ProPublica, where she was a creative story technologist. She has previously worked at The Times as a creative technologist, R&D Lab, engineering manager and product manager for NYT Cooking and senior product manager for video. Chang has a B.A. from Wellesley College and an M.S. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Holder will be based in London and joins from the graphics department where he served as editor. Before that, he served as a software engineer, interactive developer and then as a visual projects editor at Guardian News and Media. Holder graduated from the University of Birmingham, where he was editor-in-chief of the student paper.
