The New York Times has hired Jenny Vrentas as a general assignment reporter working on enterprise and investigations on the Sports desk.
Vrentas joins from Sports Illustrated, where she spent over 8 years, recently as an NFL writer. She has also worked at The Star-Ledger for 6 years as a sports reporter.
Vrentas has a B.S. from Penn State University and a M.S. in journalism from Columbia University – Graduate School of Journalism.
