Alexis Soloski has joined The New York Times as a staff reporter. Since 2006, she has been a regular freelancer at the Times.
From June 1998 to April 2013, Soloski worked as a theater critic at The Village Voice. She has also taught at Barnard College and at Columbia University.
She authored the 50-episode PBS digital series “Crash Course Theater” and will publish her debut novel, “Here in the Dark,” in December.
Soloski has a B.A. from Yale University and a PhD. from Columbia University, New York.
