Víctor Manuel Ramos will be joining The New York Times’ flexible editing desk as an editor. He comes from Newsday where he recently held the post of deputy editor.
Ramos has been with Newsday for more than 10 years and has also served as a special writer. He was also a senior staff writer at the Orlando Sentinel and before that a staff writer at Newsday Media Group. He was also a staff writer at the Spanish-language daily El Diario/La Prensa.
He was also a staff reporter/layout designer at El Daily News at The New York Daily News. He was also a production assistant at BronxNet Community Television.
