NY Times hires Genster as staff editor in Seoul

Brolley Genster

Brolley Genster has joined The New York Times Home team as a staff editor, based in Seoul. Recently, he was an editor and reporter at the English-language newspaper The Korea Herald in Seoul, Korea.

Before that, Genster was a copy editor and culture editor at Korea JoongAng Daily, an English-language daily published in partnership with The New York Times.

He is a member of the Asian American Journalists Association, has served on the boards of the Asia chapter and Seoul subchapter and is a graduate of AAJA’s Executive Leadership Program.

Genster graduated from American University.
