Kennedy Elliott has joined The New York Times Graphics department as a story editor. Recently, Elliott was director of interactive storytelling at National Geographic, where she also worked as a senior graphics editor.
She was a graphics editor at The Washington Post and an interactive journalist at both The Guardian and The Associated Press.
Elliott earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University.
