Alice Callahan has joined The New York Times as a nutrition reporter, Well.
Since September 2012, Callahan has been working as a freelance science writer for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, FiveThirtyEight, Smithsonian, Scientific American and Slate.
She is also the creator of Scienceofmom.com, a blog focused on evidence-based parenting information.
Callahan has a B.S. from Cornell University and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis.
