NY Times hires Aleaziz as reporter

Hamed Aleaziz

Hamed Aleaziz has joined The New York Times as a reporter to cover immigration and the Department of Homeland Security. He wrote on X/Twitter:

“Please email me for my Signal number or to send tips/story ideas!”

Recently, Aleaziz was an immigration policy reporter at the Los Angeles Times. Before that, he worked as an immigration reporter at BuzzFeed News and served as a reporter at the San Francisco Chronicle, where he worked for four years.

Aleaziz has a bachelor’s degree in journalism: news-editorial from the University of Oregon.

Be sure to congratulate Aleaziz on X/Twitter.
