The New York Times and public media organization PRX today announced a partnership to bring “The Ezra Klein Show” to public radio airwaves. Produced by The New York Times with public radio distribution from PRX, “The Ezra Klein Show” will be available to stations across the United States beginning November 10 as a one-hour weekly program.

“The Ezra Klein Show” –– to date a popular podcast addressing pressing matters of society and culture –– is new to public radio. Journalist and host Ezra Klein invites audiences into a conversation on topics of significance, for example: How do we address climate change if the political system fails to act? Has the logic of markets infiltrated too many aspects of our lives? What do psychedelics teach us about consciousness? What does sci-fi understand about our present that we miss? Can our food system be just to humans and animals alike?

“I’m beyond thrilled to see the show stretch into new audiences and new conversations in partnership with PRX,” says Klein. “I grew up on PRX’s programs and their DNA is braided into the work I do now. This is an honor, but also, in a sense, a homecoming.”

Klein joined The New York Times in 2021. Previously, he was the founder and editor in chief of Vox. Klein has served as a columnist and editor at The Washington Post, a political analyst at MSNBC, a contributor to Bloomberg and is the author of the bestselling book “Why We’re Polarized.”
