Eleanor Lutz will be joining The New York Times as a full-time graphics editor at the end of her one-year fellowship in June.
Lutz has also worked as a freelancer for 6 years, with clients including National Geographic, Scientific American, and the Gates Foundation. Her work has also been featured on The Washington Post, Wired, Vice, Fast Company, and five design books.
She has also taught lab sections of three courses: Data Science for Biologists, Introductory Biology, and Intro to Neuroscience at The University of Washington.
Lutz is a B.S. and a Ph.D. in biology and data science from the University of Washington.
