Nia Adurogbola will join The New York Times Well as a senior news assistant to support editors and reporters to produce consumer health journalism.
Recently, Adurogbola was a news assistant on the Times’ Spark AR team, a collaboration between the Instagram, R&D teams and Meta “to create camera filters that brought the best of New York Times visual reporting to life for our audience,” reports the Times.
She was a photo editor at Stitch, Northwestern University’s fashion and lifestyle magazine.
Adurogbola has a B.S. in journalism from Northwestern University.
