Multiple Gannett daily newspapers in Wisconsin, excluding the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, will cease home delivery of Saturday print editions from March 12.
These papers include the Green Bay Press-Gazette, the Appleton Post-Crescent, the Sheboygan Press, the Wausau Daily Herald, the Oshkosh Northwestern, and the Manitowoc Herald Times Reporter.
As per the company, the Saturday print editions will be dropped to provide subscribers “exclusive access to the full Saturday e-Edition,” which will include local news, advertising and features.
“These decisions better align our resources to maintain strong local reporting across our nationwide network, for the benefit of our subscribers and advertisers,” Gannett spokeswoman Lark-Marie Anton said. “We recognize and appreciate the deep loyalty our longtime subscribers have to our daily newspapers and are committed to delivering quality products.”
