NPR has tapped Giulia Heyward to serve as a breaking news reporter. Recently, Heyward was a national education reporter at Capital B News.
She was a reporting fellow at The New York Times and interned at Politico, CNN, The Washington Monthly and Sarasota Magazine.
Heyward has a master’s degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
