Noticias Telemundo has spruced up the network’s midday newscast program, with a newly designed look and anchor team.
Starting today, Emmy award-winning journalists Nicole Suárez and Octavio Pulido are the co-anchors of the revamped Noticias Telemundo Mediodía, which airs weekdays at 12:30 pm ET.
Telemundo had been rotating anchors for the noon show, following anchor Nacho Lozano’s departure in March.
In addition to breaking news and coverage, the newscast will include the regular entertainment segment “Pase VIP,” led by Telemundo correspondent Quique Usales, who previously worked as a reporter for Univision and Televisa.
The show will also feature special reports from the network’s environmental unit Planeta Tierra and the latest viral news on social media with multimedia journalist Miriam Arias.
Suárez was previously an anchor on Telemundo’s morning program, hoyDía and a news correspondent for Al Rojo Vivo. She joined Noticias Telemundo in 2016.
Pulido arrives to the network from Telemundo Arizona, where was most recently lead anchor for the station’s 5 and 10 pm newscasts. He joined Telemundo Arizona as a weekend anchor and multimedia journalist in 2016. He previously worked as a video journalist and anchor at Univision Arizona.
Noticias Telemundo Mediodía will also stream live on YouTube, Facebook and X (formerly Twitter).
