North Carolina TV station names Parker weekend sports anchor/reporter

Marvin Parker Jr.

Marvin Parker Jr., a weekend sports anchor/reporter at The Delta News has left to assume the same post at WLOS-TV Ch. 13. The Asheville, N.C. station broadcasts ABC and MyNetworkTV programming.

Parker interned at WBTV-TV Ch. 3, a CBS affiliate in Charlotte, N.C., Fox Broadcasting Company and NBC News.

Parker has a B.S. from Texas State University and a M.A. from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
