North Carolina paper web editor McClellan set to leave

Hannah McClellan

Hannah McClellan, web editor at the Chatham News + Record in Siler City, North Carolina, will be leaving to join EducationNC, where she will be covering community colleges, post-secondary access and faith.

Prior to joining the Chatham News + Record as an education reporter in 2020, she was a senior staff writer at The Daily Tar Heel, the student newspaper serving the communities of UNC – Chapel Hill and Orange County.

She has also interned at StarNews Media in Wilmington, North Carolina.

McClellan has a B.A. in journalism from UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media.
