Ren Larson has joined The Assembly, North Carolina’s digital statewide magazine, as a reporter. Previously, she was a data reporter for The Texas Tribune.
Larson joined The Arizona Republic in June 2018 as a national politics Pulliam fellow. In this role, she collaborated with local staff and national network for breaking coverage of immigrant family separations and reunification.
She joined the staff in 2018 as a data journalist.
Larson has a B.A. from Augustana College in Illinois and a M.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, where she wrote for the student paper.
