NJ Monthly Magazine associate editor Phillips departs

Gary Phillips

Gary Phillips, an associate editor at New Jersey Monthly Magazine will leave. His tweet reads:

“Some personal news: My time @NJMonthly is ending soon. I’m incredibly excited to share what’s next in the coming days. For now, I want to sincerely thank @jbgordon & the rest of the NJM team for making my stint there so enjoyable and rewarding…”

Phillips also served as an associate editor and writer for Yankees Magazine and managing editor of of USA Today SMG’s Jets Wire.

He also worked at The Athletic, Bleacher Report, NJ.com, The Bergen Record, The Journal News and CNBC.

Phillips has a B.A. in journalism from Seton Hall University in New Jersey.
