An excerpt from the announcement reads:

Amelia also co-wrote the Coronavirus Briefing with Jonathan Wolfe and embedded with the Well desk for several months in late 2021 and early 2022.
She joined The Times in 2019 as the inaugural newsroom fellow on the Food desk. Before joining The Times, she worked as an Overseas Press Club fellow with the Associated Press in Dakar, Senegal, and as an intern with The Boston Globe, where she conducted extensive research for a project on education equity that was a finalist for the 2020 Pulitzer Prize in local reporting.
