Clara Niel will join the Frederick News-Post as a reporter covering public safety. She has previously also interned at the local paper in Frederick County, Md.
Niel has also served as a news editor at The Diamondback, the student paper of the University of Maryland.
Niel has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Maryland.
