Newsweek hires Bush as White House correspondent

Daniel Bush

Daniel Bush has joined Newsweek as a White House correspondent on the Washington enterprise team. Previously, he was a senior political reporter at PBS NewsHour.

He has also covered Congress for energy and environmental publication E&E News and covered city and state politics, and environmental issues, among other topics, for The Brooklyn Paper. He also served as a news editor/reporter at Queens Ledger/Brooklyn Star Newspaper Group.

Bush also covered politics, the environment, crime, education and other topics for a chain of weekly newspapers in the Hudson Valley.

Bush has a B.A. in journalism and creative writing from New York University and an M.A. in journalism and politics from Columbia University – Graduate School of Journalism.
