Newsweek hires Brar as China news reporter

Aadil Brar

Aadil Brar will join Newsweek as a China news reporter based in Taipei. Since January 2023, he has been a visiting scholar at National Chengchi University in Taiwan.

Brar also freelanced and was a digital journalist/China editor at BBC News.

Brar has a B.A. from the University of British Columbia and an MSc. from SOAS University of London.
