Emmy award-winning veteran journalist Adrienne Bankert is joining NewsNation as an anchor/correspondent.
In her new role, Bankert will cover national affairs and deliver special reports across the network’s prime-time weeknight news broadcasts, along with anchoring a new national newscast later in the year.
Bankert joins from ABC News where she was working for more than 5 years as a news correspondent, reporter and anchor. She was also an anchor at KTVT | CBS DFW.
Also, Bankert has been with Hearst Television for more than 7 years, joining as a traffic anchor and then serving as a news anchor, reporter and host.
She is also the author of “Your Hidden Superpower: The Kindness that Makes You Unbeatable at Work and Connects You with Anyone.”
Bankert is a B.A. in communication and media studies from the University of Southern California.
