NewsNation appoints Burman anchor of ‘The Hill’

Blake Burman, chief Washington correspondent at NewsNation, has been named the permanent moderator of the newly launched 5 o’clock weekday political program “The Hill.”

Commenting on his added role, Burman said:

“I’m thrilled to moderate ‘The Hill,’ especially as we enter another consequential election cycle. Our audience knows they can hear from the biggest players in politics, on both sides of the aisle, and we look forward to bringing those thoughtful conversations to our viewers.”

Previously, he was head of content and communications at fintech startup Trust.

He worked at Fox Business Network for more than six years, where he held the posts of Washington correspondent and senior D.C. correspondent. He also worked as an anchor and reporter at both WSVN-TV Ch. 7, a Fox affiliate in Miami, and at KAUZ-TV Ch. 6, a CBS and CW Plus station in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Burman graduated from the University of Michigan.
