Jack Brewster has joined NewsGuard Technologies in New York as a senior analyst and reporter, politics, covering political misinformation. He was previously editing and writing nonfiction topics for Lucid, a startup educational app.
He is also the founder and managing editor of Newsreel, a news agency he founded that is dedicated to helping young people think better about news.
He was also a Fulbright scholar in Munich, Germany, conducting a research project about the role of journalists in the digital age. Brewster was also a politics reporter at Forbes.
He has also covered politics for Time Magazine, Newsweek, Vice News, and the New York Daily News.
Brewster graduated from Oberlin College and has written for the college publication the Oberlin Review.
