Newsday promotes Levin to assistant managing editor

Robert Levin

Newsday has tapped Robert Levin as assistant managing editor. Recently, Levin served as deputy assistant managing editor.

Levin worked at amNew York for more than 12 years. He joined as an intern, worked freelance, served as an associate editor and senior editor, and rose to become editor in chief. He worked freelance for Inside Jersey Magazine at The Star-Ledger and Newsday.

He also contributed to The Atlantic.

Levin has a B.A. from New York University.
