Stuff has tapped Tracy Watkins, based in Wellington, New Zealand, to serve as editor of The Post. Since May 2019, she has been editor of the Sunday Star-Times and Sunday News, a role which she will continue.
Commenting on her new role, Watkins said:
“As a proud Wellingtonian with a passion for politics, taking on the editorship of The Post is a dream come true – especially in the lead-up to the October election. I look forward to working with the team to provide original, agenda-setting journalism that reflects the mood of Wellington and the nation.”
She has been with Stuff for more than a decade, previously serving as deputy political editor, political editor and bureau chief.
