New York Times appoints Greensit managing editor, visuals

Charlotte Greensit

Charlotte Greensit has been promoted to the post of managing editor, visuals, at The New York Times. She joins from Opinion, where she was a managing editor.

Greensit joined The Times in 2020 from The Intercept, where she was managing editor and then served as managing editor and director of digital strategy. She was also with Time Magazine for over 12 years, where she has worked as a senior editor, international and senior editor, international and U.S.

Greensit has a B.A. in politics from Newcastle University.
