Hugh Dougherty has joined the New York Post as deputy news features editor. Previously, he worked at DailyMail.com for more than six years, where he served as a senior supervising producer for Daily Mail TV and then executive editor.
From November 2009 to January 2011, he held the post of deputy news editor at the Daily Mail. He also served as an assistant editor at MailOnline and as a news editor at The Telegraph.
He served as a news reporter, assistant news editor and news editor at the Evening Standard, where he worked for more than seven years.
He also worked as a news reporter and New York correspondent at Press Association.
Dougherty has a master’s degree from the University of Glasgow.
