New Scientist hires Thompson as assistant news editor

Alexandra Thompson

Alexandra Thompson is now an assistant news editor at The New Scientist. She was previously a health reporter at Yahoo.

She has also worked at MailOnline as a health reporter and then as a senior health reporter. She has also worked in London as an investigative reporter at BioPharm Insight, a GlobalData product, and as an editorial assistant at CIG Healthcare Partnership.

Thompson is a University of Leeds graduate.
